HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER’S TRAUMA TEAM has an outstanding opportunity for a TEMPORARY – PART TIME – PROGRAM CORDINATOR
Work Schedule

  • 30% TO 50% FTE
  • The prospective end date of the role is 09/29/25, but if the US Department of Defense extends the Mission Zero Act and Trauma Readiness Program beyond 2025, we will likely extend the duration of Program Coordinator employment to mirror the program timeframe


  • POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Provide dedicated administrative support to HARBORVIEW MEDICIAL CENTER’S Military-Civilian Partnership in the Trauma Readiness Grant Program (Mission Zero).
  • Manage the daily needs of HMC Army medical personnel including coordinating team training events, conference travel, continuing education, facilitating credentialing and reimbursement requests
  • Monitor grant fund utilization, program performance, and compliance with federal reporting requirements


  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    Harborview Medical Center (HMC) has partnered with the US Department of Defense (DOD) to provide trauma-specific training for active-duty Army medical personnel

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor grant funds utilization and facilitate reimbursement
  • Coordination with HMC Grants Manager to ensure compliance with federal grant requirements
  • Oversee program compliance with DOD Mission Zero Act
  • Monitor and disclose program and provider metrics according to federal reporting requirements
  • Schedule coordination for HMC Army medical team training events
  • Facilitate provider credentialing for all Army medical personnel at HM
  • Coordinate conference travel and continuing education for all Army medical personnel at HMC


  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty

    OR

    Equivalent education/experience.


    ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
