16 H-2A fulltime seasonal jobs available 8/21/23-12/22/23. Duties: On farms in aviaries )large enclosures for confining chickens), assemble and install aviary components, including feed management, manure management and egg collection components, all of which are light-weight in nature such that they can be handled by hand. These components are installed by hand with basic hand tools such as drills, hammers and pliers. Install bird floor meshes, feed troughs, attach chicken waterer with catch cups, perches, cage doors, bird ramps and other associated components for the bird environment. Installation requires lifting, carrying, bending and stooping. Position fans and inlets by lifting them into corresponding openings and fastening them in place. No mechanical, industrial or electrical work involved. This is installation and assembly of aviary components on a farm in a simple, uncomplicated form. Requirements: * 1 month experience in helper, installation, maintenance and repair work. * Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds * Random drug testing may be performed post hire at the employer expense * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Extensive pushing/pulling/sitting/walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements The full terms and conditions of the job (form ETA790a) should be reviewed and provided to qualified applicants from this website: seasonaljobs.dol.gov.
