Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Description:
LOVE WORKING OUTDOORS? - We provide lawn mowing services, landscape maintenance, snow removal, and more! Nathan’s Lawn Care is currently accepting applications for our Lawn Care Fertilizer/Spray Technician position. The primary purpose of this position is to apply fertilizers and other pesticides, both spray and granular, to the landscapes of our customers. We are ideally looking for applicants 1 year of experience or more in spraying/spreading fertilizers and pesticides.

JOB SUMMARY

Includes but not limited to;

Efficiently perform tasks such as properly mixing and applying herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides to lawns, shrubs, trees, or ornamental plants
Use different machines, mainly z-spray's. Backpack sprayers and push spreaders as necessary.
Ability to drive for work throughout the metro.
A willingness to plow or shovel snow during the winter months.
Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and office staff
Help other crews complete daily tasks, when there is no fertilization/spray work
Our fertilizer crew will usually be a 1 man crew, that are responsible for their own route. Normal days are 10 hours, usual hours are 7am-4/5pm M-F, we try to work shorter days on Friday. Applicant must be willing to work late/Saturday's if the crew falls behind. We are an all-season service company, snow plowing/shoveling work in the winter.

This lawn care position comes with a competitive wage of $18-$23/hour with overtime pay, the potential for bonuses, and annual raises. Initial compensation varies with skill, experience, and technical knowledge. Pay increases with experience and winter work.
