The Role and Team:

As a QA Engineer II at Mindful, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance and functionality of our software applications. Collaborating closely with the software development teams, you will spearhead the creation and execution of performance testing activities, leveraging our existing framework. Additionally, you will design and implement automation tests to support our agile software development processes, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Participate in full testing life cycle as part of a high-performing team
Perform Functional, regression, performance test execution
Communication and collaboration with Offshore and onsite
Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
Develop API and integration tests.
Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements
Document results of tests and create bugs for the software development team.
Collaborate with Development on product test strategies and execution
Identify gaps in knowledge, tools, and process and work with your leaders to address them
Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
Involved in testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
Working in an Agile/Scrum development process, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Utilizing strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a desire to be excellent in everything while being able to prioritize and make trade-offs

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field; or equivalent experience
3 years of experience on functional, performance and automation testing
Proficiency in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools, including test script creation, execution, and analysis.
Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, product, support, and system engineers, to deliver business solutions effectively.
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, including maintaining and adding to an existing automation framework. Continuously evaluate test cases for inclusion in regression tests, automation for new features, and development of toolsets to augment testing
Ability to work effectively in an onsite/offshore model, coordinating with team members across different geographical locations.
Must be able to work within the eastern timezone; 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.
Applicants must be either U.S. citizen or valid Green Card holders due to the nature of this role involving certifications and/or governmental compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework, with a strong understanding of iterative development processes and principles.
Experience with test management tools such as qTest, Jira, or similar platforms for test planning, execution, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms for automated build, integration, and deployment pipelines.\
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and familiarity with deploying and managing applications on AWS infrastructure.
Experience within the Telecom industry is a plus.
Experience using GitHub as a code repository, utilizing pull requests and code branches, and working on automation teams, including taking part in code reviews and continuous integration
Experience working with manual testers and helping to create automation backlogs based on functional tests
Experience with JMeter, Ruby, Python, CI tools such as Jenkins and Java, test case management tools similar to qTest, and executing Performance Test Plans to meet overall testing and quality assurance goals.

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $83,000 - $141,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
