OVERVIEW
As the Director of Marketing at Colliers Mortgage Holdings (inclusive of our Mortgage, Securities, Funding, and Insurance teams) you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to enhance our brand presence, drive lead generation, and support our business growth. You will lead and grow a talented team of marketing professionals to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and maintain responsibility for achieving our broader marketing goals and objectives.
OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of Overall Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
Partner with marketing and executive stakeholders across the Colliers enterprise and its affiliated companies (Rockwood Capital, Harrison Street) to ensure brand alignment
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
Collaborate with the executive leadership team to establish marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively
Maintaining Competitive Advantage
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities
Provide insights and recommendations to stay ahead in the market
Apprise leadership team of market developments and opportunities
Managing Social Media Presence:
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, followership, and brand awareness
Create and curate content that aligns with our brand identity and values
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns
Website Design and Management:
Oversee the development and maintenance of the company website
Ensure website content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO
Implement strategies to improve website traffic and user engagement
Oversight of Conference and Event Planning:
Plan, coordinate, and execute industry conferences, seminars, and events
Collaborate with event vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution
Evaluate event outcomes and propose improvements for future events
Employer Branding:
In collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition, develop and execute an employer branding strategy to attract top talent
Highlight the company's culture, values, and career opportunities
Manage employer branding campaigns across various platforms
Creation of Marketing Collateral
Create and maintain marketing collateral, including tear sheets and term sheets
Collaborate with graphic designers and content writers to produce high-quality materials
Ensure consistency and accuracy of marketing materials
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in B2B marketing, commercial real estate, securities, or commercial finance industry
Strong digital marketing skills and proficiency in social media platforms
Excellent project management and event planning skills
Market research and competitive analysis expertise
Experience with website management and content management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Familiarity with financial services, RFP processes, and real estate terminology preferred
