| Job Description: |
Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Nursery Workers to work in Rochester, MN.
From: 03/18/2024 to 11/25/2024
Work: 56 hrs./week, Mon. - Sun. 8 hrs./day
This job requires a rotating shift schedule. Hours/schedule may vary. Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The workday may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need.
All hours worked in excess of 48 hours per work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

JOB DUTIES: A Greenhouse Production Associate will help in all areas of annual and perennial production. Daily tasks include but are not limited to planting plants on the automated planting line or by hand, hand-watering, weeding, deadheading, pulling landscape, contractor, and garden center orders, and keeping detailed records when planting, shipping, and pulling orders. Assist in other departments, such as garden center, field work with trees, or ornamental potted trees and shrubs (Woody Plants). Must pay attention to detail.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: No prior experience required; No High School Diploma or GED required; able to work in a variety of weather conditions; must be physically able to bend and twist; able to work while standing for long hours; able to lift 75 lbs., and 25 lbs. repeatedly.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
