Legislative Assistant lll - Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Hourly
Pay Range - \$20.66 - \$30.98 Closing Date: April 15, 2024, or upon
receipt of the first 50 application submissions Job Summary: The
Legislate Assistant represents elected Supervisors in their public
office, delivers responsive constituent services and executes
administrative responsibilities in a diverse workplace. Provides shared
services for the department and district Supervisory offices. Job
Responsibilities: Interact with the public, County officials, and
community organizations in a professional and positive manner. Answer
phones, respond to emails, and assist walk-in constituent concerns.
Organize County schedules and public files for elected officials. Track
Committee and County Board meetings. Research County legislation.
Coordinate town hall meetings and other district activities. Draft
written communications on behalf of elected officials. Develop district
mailings, both print and eNews. Manage constituent database in
