Essentia Health CMA /LPN - Proctor Clinic in Proctor, Minnesota
Job Description:
Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. This position is for the Proctor Clinic but may be required to float to other locations depending on staffing needs.
Education Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant Program Graduate of an approved LPN program or medical assistant (MA) program.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, (i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin) OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts.)
For all markets: BLS required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
