Job Description

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST, MIT Health, to perform routine clinical laboratory tests and special tests in a CAP-accredited laboratory in the departments of clinical chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and microbiology.  Will ensure that high quality laboratory testing is performed by supporting policies and actions that are consistent with department'sMIT Health's mission and goals.  Will report to the laboratory manager.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  B.S. degree in medical technology, biology, or chemistry; one year of relevant experience; American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Association (NCA), or equivalent certification; proven ability to foster team work and proactively takes on challenges; excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills; ability and willingness to comply with established risk management and safety procedures and all local, state, and federal privacy and confidentiality rules and regulations.  Job #24016-6
