As our Hospital Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our large veterinary hospital, including surgical and emergency services. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of skilled veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients.

You will work closely with our Leaders/Supervisors and Medical Director to achieve our goals and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.

What you will be doing but not limited to:

  • Accountability for the hospital profit & loss statements

  • Responsibility to foster a collaborative and positive culture and work environment

  • Focus on exceeding client expectations

  • Oversight of Leaders/Supervisors and Medical Director who support approximately 50 associates including doctors, technicians, veterinary assistants, and paraprofessional staff

  • Develop and grow future leaders

  • Oversight and development of onboarding, training, and continuity programs

  • Cultivate relationships within the veterinary community

  • Support the recruitment of medical professionals

Who we are looking for:

  • Prior specialty/emergency veterinary management knowledge is a plus.

  • Strong leadership skills to develop a solid team and proven success in engaging with veterinary professionals

  • Excellent analytical and organization skills, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Prior leadership for a specialty hospital or multi-site operational business

  • Proven experience building high performing teams

  • Ability to multi-task and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities

  • Experienced record of generating revenue growth and ability to balance short-term needs and priorities while building for the future
