<br>A global leader is looking for a contract Business System Lead Analyst (BlackLine) to play an active role in accounting and financial systems. Responsibilities will primarily include front-end analysis, requirements, design, testing, documentation, implementation, and support of applicable systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and accounting/information system skills with a strong desire to learn. The ability to prioritize, efficiently plan work activities and be detail and results oriented is critical to the position. This is a 4+ month contract part-time role (20-30hrs week)<br>
<br>
<strong>What Will You Do?</strong>
<br>
<br>* Assist with administration of BlackLine across the company, including the implementation and support of complex BlackLine changes related to a major transformation initiative including design, testing, training, deployment, master data, and troubleshooting issues that arise.<br>
<br>* Support, test, and enhance moderately complex information systems and develop adequate error management functionality within BlackLine and S/4 HANA.<br>
<br>* Demonstrate a proven track record in BlackLine application system administration and communication to internal/external Information Technology and Systems (ITS) teams (i.e., ERP teams such as JDE9 and SAP, and the BlackLine support team).<br>
<br>* Working knowledge of data flow from ERP to FTP (server transfer portal) to Blackline with emphasis on Account Reconciliation mapping and importing.<br>
<br>* Maintain data integrity and accuracy across applications, including data imports, duplication, and maintaining data cleanliness best practices.<br>
<br>* Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, system errors, and performance problems within the finance applications.<br>
<br>* Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and manage and/or develop enhancements while quantifying business benefits to be delivered by the project or enhancement.<br>
<br>* Promote a strong control environment with a focus on lean thinking, continuous improvement, and scalability.<br>
<br>* Assist with other projects that require strategic and critical thinking, including participation in the design of future ERP deployments.<br>
<br>* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.<br>
<br>
<strong>What Experience Should You Have?</strong>
<br>
<br>* Experience with BlackLine administration<br>
<br>* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Information Systems, or related field with an accounting focus<br>
<br>* Minimum of 6 years of accounting, systems, and/or other relevant business experience<br>
<br>* Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting principles and financial statement presentation<br>
<br>* Experience with SAP or comparable ERP system<br>
<br>* Previous experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate spreadsheets, create pivot tables and summarize data from multiple sources.<br>
