Description

The Training HAUS Nutrition Services Assistant is responsible for providing daily support of the HAUS nutrition services and fueling station, along with supporting client programming, patient registration, and assisting the operations team to ensure the Training HAUS is prepared for patient care.
Flexible part-time role out of our Eagan TrainingHAUS location.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:
Work in partnership with Sports Dietitian for organization and execution of nutrition station including inventory management, ordering, receiving and storage of nutrition products and student-volunteer management
Providing appropriate pre- and post-workout fueling and recovery nutrition products and evidence-based education to patients and clients
Support Sports RD with recruiting, training, coordination and oversight of fueling station undergraduate and graduate fueling station interns; managing fueling station during
Assist as needed with clinical duties of Sports Dietitian (meal planning, food log analysis, individual fueling projects, body composition analysis etc.)
Track, manage and execute payments for Meal Preparation Program in support of Sports Dietitians
Support operations of nutrition service offerings and event operations within interdepartmental Training HAUS programs
Create and deliver nutrition educations, presentations and communications targeted to interdepartmental staff, outreach groups, individual athletes, etc.
Assist physical therapy and athletic training staff with day-to-day operations of facility which may include but is not limited to aiding with patient care and cleaning of facility, allowing for staff to further enhance patient/athlete experience
Conduct biometric screenings and body composition analysis as needed with oversight of Registered Dietitian
Fully understand, describe and promote all aspects of the Training HAUS
Communicate all pertinent patient information regarding their call to include; appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
Accurately and efficiently schedule new and existing patients in the current practice management system
Occasionally participate in and support community functions relating to Training HAUS outreach events throughout the year
Any and all other duties and projects as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in nutrition related field accredited through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and/or in pursuit of Registered Dietitian degree
Experience working with athletic organizations preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Customer Service experience preferred
