Required Skills:
• Degree in an Agriculture/GPS related major or equivalent experience
• Valid driver license and insurability certificate
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment, meet all deadlines, and keep excellent records
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Must possess good business aptitude and be capable of providing a high level of support
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills:
• AFS Precision Farming market knowledge preferred
• At least 3 years of precision experience with steady employment
• Able to communicate with developers and programmers on high level issues as well as being able to easily and accurately convey information to other employees and customers with limited knowledge

Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Working with little or no supervision, the Precision Farming Specialist will apply geospatial technologies, including geographic information systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS), to agricultural production. The Precision Farming Specialist will work with the AFS Support Center, other AFS team members, whole goods sales, service shop, and customers directly. Activities include to installation, training, troubleshooting, and supporting all aspects of technology, including guidance systems, mapping, autopilot, monitors, and service tools. This person is also responsible for providing excellent customer service and for completing general duties to support the dealership.
