Reporting to the Managing Director of European Operations, the Manager of CDMO Services will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through new Contract Manufacturing conversions and Private Branding and Private Label Opportunities of our existing product range for large OEMs within Europe. This position requires a strategic focus on identifying engineering-driven solutions for clients, leveraging a consultative approach to sales. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal Product Design & Development resources to co-sell design and product customization opportunities that lead to manufacturing contracts. They will take full ownership of the sales process from opportunity identification to formal award of business, while maintaining strong connections with current customers where open projects exist.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and cultivate high-value business opportunities within the CDMO activities of NMT, leveraging an engineering mindset and solution sales approach.
  • Establish impactful relationships with key decision-makers within target customers, emphasizing value-added solutions.
  • Develop, execute, and refine sales strategies aligned with NMT's commercial strategy, focusing on engineering-driven solutions.
  • Assess the medical device manufacturer market within the defined territory and identify key target companies.
  • Utilize existing industry network to access high-value opportunities within target medical device manufacturers.
  • Exceed new Contract Manufacturing business conversion objectives through consultative solution selling.
  • Expand relationship network within the existing medical device customer base, emphasizing engineering-driven solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to further develop the current customer base, emphasizing value-added engineering solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and insightful updates in the CRM system for shared visibility.
  • Maximize the value of the existing customer base to secure new Contract Design and Manufacturing revenue, emphasizing engineering-driven solutions.
  • Navigate internal networks effectively and drive highly effective internal communication.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of business development experience, including structuring and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Up to 50% travel across Europe.
  • Established relationships with key decision-makers at tier 1 and 2 medical device manufacturers.
  • Expertise in medical device contract manufacturing; experience with medical device manufacturers is desired.
