The Associate Materials Analyst will be the materials distribution system data management and analysis expert. This person will be responsible for the data mining, report writing and analysis utilization of continuous improvement tools to design, implement, and maintain supply chain solutions that positively affect Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale.
Responsibilities
Applies detailed knowledge of the MS Office Product suite and various statistical and data-mining software to analyze and report on a variety of inventory related matters. These will include:
PFEP and BOM validations
E&O Management (Process Owner)
ECO incorporations
Product ordering patterns
Inventory Record Accuracy assessments
Receiving accuracy
Variety of Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Logistics assessments and metrics
Problem Solving Exercises
Complex (Multi-Structure) ECO Implementation tracking, Sourcing BOMS, Decommission files
Profiling Tool Owner
Create and maintain metrics that assess Material Shortages and Root Cause (BOM, PFEP, Kanban Card Process)
Utilize Advance Excel skills to identify significant discrepancies between planned (PFEP) Material use, Actual & Projected to minimize inventory while reducing shortages.
Comparisons of PFEP and TMS capacities
Creates and maintains a variety of hard and soft copy files related to Inventory, Supply Chain, Logistics and Materials Management.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Technical Field or equivalent experience (Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics, Information Systems)
ERP (Oracle) Experience
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications and Advanced Excel Skills (Macro-Writing)
Demonstrated data mining, analysis and reporting skills
Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to complete work in a timely manner and a strong interest in working in a fast paced, cross functional project heavy environment.
Strong customer orientation with focus on quality, cost and continuous improvement.
Experience with Kaizen process
Project Management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams.
Salary: The compensation range for this position is $23-$30 hourly DOE. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
