Medication Technician
Job Location
US-MN-Center City
ID 2024-11158 Status On Call Shift Day Schedule Varied Hours of Work 10:00am to 630pm
Responsibilities
To support patient medication needs through inventory and identification of medications at time of admission, receive medication deliveries, support patient refill needs through communication with retail pharmacy.
Inventory and identify patient home medications upon admission
Receive and redirect medication deliveries from retail pharmacy to individual units
Support patients with refill needs
Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests and visitors
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma
Current Self-Administration of Medication Certification or TMA certification within 30 days of hire
CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in addiction/addiction medicine
Current CMA, CNA or Pharmacy Technician certification
Experience as a CMA or CNA
