Mortenson is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Human Capital Management Systems and for implementing related 3rd party solutions. The Senior HRIS Analyst combines human capital knowledge with information retrieval skills to produce insightful reports and/or dashboards which will contribute to analysis and decision making and other top leadership needs.



Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and maintenance for HR information systems (including but not limited to Oracle, iCims and SumTotal)
Accurate reporting, metrics and analytics
Oversee one or more HR information systems, gathering information to support decision making, resolving issues along with team members, and providing training on the system to new team members
Test patches, custom objects, and any other changes that may impact HR information systems
Provide recommendations for process improvements aligned with applicable new or existing laws, and assist in roll-out of communication of those improvements
Act as liaison between HR, Payroll and ITS
Ensure data integrity through testing of system, changes, building and maintaining data audit plans
Analyzes company needs, gathers functional requirements and works with vendor(s) and/or internal developers to design systems and tools with the ability to translate and articulate back to the business
Implements, tests, and maintains the company’s instance of HR Systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record and process employee information
Maintains, develops, and revises all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation related to HR Systems Excellent project management, communication and organization skills
Participates in the development and delivery of training to a multilevel end-user population on system use and related human capital best practice
Recommends and plans for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system.
Manages the relationships and work products of related 3rd party consulting/implementation partners, learning content providers, and other complementary services.
Provide information and recommendations on new and cutting-edge HR information systems and technologies

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to analyze company needs, gather requirements and work with vendors and internal partners to design systems and tools
Experience acting as liaison and ability to communication and translate concepts between vendors, internal developers and business partners

Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
Strong initiative, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills
Must be a team player with the ability to work independently, creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
Proven ability to apply analytical techniques as well as obtain, verify and evaluate general and statistical information
KEY SKILL PREFERENCES
Experience successfully managing the relationships of related third party consulting/implementation partners, learning content providers and other complementary services
Experience recommending and planning for improvements, enhancements and new applications to systems
Ability to adjust to multiple tasks and demands and constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years progressive HRIS administration and analysis including SAAS or on premise implementation

Experience with core HR, benefits & one or more HR areas is required (Payroll, Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting or Learning)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or equivalent field
Possess basic understanding of employment law and generally accepted business practices
Experience working with ERP HR systems (e.g.- Oracle, Workday, SAP) including implementing, testing and maintaining
Demonstrated understanding of SQL server database structures and reporting services
Expert level Excel skills with strong proficiency in MS Office - Word, Access, PowerPoint
