Job Description: |
Summer Targeted Services Program - Site Coordinator School Responsibilities: *Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program; including transportation and nursing services. * Identify and recruit students for the program in collaboration with counselors, teachers, administrators and parents. * Provide support and feedback to teachers regarding the implementation of the curriculum and best practices. * Assist teachers with analysis of formal and informal assessment data of their students, to determine the appropriate response to instruction. District Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the K-8 Targeted Services Summer School Administrator on the Targeted Services Program expectations. * Ensure all requirements of the program are adhered to and necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner; including reporting and management of the Continuous Learning Plans (CLPs). * Attend District provided nursing and food services training. Coordinator Eligibility: * Teachers working on an administrative degree or holding an administrative degree are preferred candidates for these positions. * If qualified teacher candidates are not available for summer programming the district will consider Assistant Principals and Principals as Site Coordinators and they will be eligible for the stipend. * If there is not an eligible candidate listed in one or two above, the principal may consider a teacher to coordinate the programs and the teacher will be eligible for the stipend listed below. Program Length/Hourly Pay/Stipend Payment: Elementary Site Coordinator. 100 hours of student contact time Compensation: $40/hr Additional Stipend for Preparation prior to Program Start available Payment will be made upon completion of the program and all required documentation is completed and submitted to the K-8 Targeted Services Summer School Administrator.
