Forklift Operator/ Material Handler Job Description: Operate diesel or propane forklift to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: Unloading/Loading trailers, unloading railcars, moving and staging materials, organizing inventory around the plant. Operator will be in and out of the lift during various times of the day. Responsibilities: Unloading/loading materials Maintain forklift usage records/safety checks Maintain a clean forklift and work area Ensure our products meet quality standards Inventory counting The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Forklift Driving experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliability, punctuality, self-motivation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of weight without assistance Ability to work alone or in a team environment Ability to bend, stand, walk, and climb for long periods of time Additional Responsibilities: May perform a variety of general manual labor tasks to assist in the everyday operation of the manufacturing facility when needed and when directed to by the Plant Operations Manager. Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $19-$20 depending on experience Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance Schedule: (7am-3:30pm) Monday-Friday occasional Saturday (Overtime can be required during peak season) Experience: Forklift Experience required Language: English (Required)
