About the Role:
As a Cloud Security Engineer at Solvay, you'll design and implement robust security solutions for our cloud-based environments and applications. You'll collaborate with teams to ensure security aligns with business objectives and contribute to enhancing overall infrastructure security. Responsibilities include:
- Architecting security solutions for cloud environments.
- Collaborating with teams to integrate security into product development.
- Conducting threat simulations and providing security recommendations.
- Managing encryption of cloud data and incident response.
- Implementing DevOps security for automated cloud security.
- Identifying and mitigating risks in cloud workloads.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of industry experience.
- Expertise in Security Architecture, Automation, and Deployment.
- Coding skills and strong communication abilities.
- Understanding of Google Cloud architecture and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and cloud operations.
- Preferably cloud certifications like AWS Certified Security or Google Security Engineer.
- Plus, security certifications like CCSK, CCSP, CISSP.
- Experience in creating design documents and presentations.
- Analytical mindset for problem-solving.
About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 45,000€ to 65,000€(Portugal), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills, experience or location. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
