• Primary job role is Diagnostics, Prognostics & Health Management (DPHM) Capabilities Associate Manager. This manager will lead a team of up to 25 engineers across multiple sites. The successful candidate will set high standards of performance for themselves, their team and others; be professional in both word and actions in any situation; seek new knowledge and experiences; have an analytical mindset that can utilize factual data to develop solutions; be self-aware and adjust accordingly to different environments. Some travel both domestic and international may be required.

• Primary responsibility of the Diagnostics, Prognostics & Health Management (DPHM) Capabilities Associate Manager is leading a functional engineering team performing Capability Integration and Systems/Subsystem Integration across multiple lines of business. Technical responsibilities include Diagnostics, Prognostics & Life Management, and Vehicle Health Management capabilities for vehicle systems and mission systems components.

• Additional responsibilities include collaborating on team strategic direction, prioritized day-to-day team operational plans aligned with strategy, and individual personnel management to enable operational plans. There is also a responsibility to maintain management situational awareness of team status and issues and support functional and program organizational meeting tempo.

• Strategic direction tasking includes collaborating on team vision, goals, and objectives to support higher-level program and organization outcomes while demonstrating full-spectrum leadership behaviors and results. In addition, the manager will exercise leadership to establish cost reduction and other long-range initiatives supporting continuous improvement of DPHM Capabilities team.

• Operational tasking includes prioritization, planning, training, performance tracking and organizational coordination. The manager will establish & communicate priorities, create & maintain operational plans, and assign personnel to programs and tasks. The manager will direct proper resources to priority tasks across the team based on internal and external customer needs and develop a surveillance tempo to track progress and adjust resource priorities as situation evolves. The manager will interface & coordinate with stakeholders and leadership from Sustainment, Vehicle Systems & Mission Systems Engineering, suppliers, and customers to develop and mature DPHM capabilities.

• Individual personnel management tasking includes annual performance management, talent assessments, career development & planning, and participating in community of interest (COI) and hiring processes.

• This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Engineering Degree from an accredited college, equivalent/combined education considered.

• Informal or Formal Leadership experience.

• Systems engineering experience.
Desired Skills:
• Formal Leadership experience.
• Experience with diagnostics and health management systems.
• Experience with Logistics & Sustainment of advanced military aircraft.
• Prefer advanced degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• ADP/F-35/F-22 program experience.
• ADP/F-35/F-22 knowledge in the system design, operation and diagnostics of Air Vehicle and Mission Systems.
• Ground Segment/ALIS/IMIS experience.
• Technical problem solving skills, strong analytical skills
• Experience with data analysis using Python, SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with working in a dynamic, diverse team environment.
• Experience with Agile practices and Methodologies
• Proactive engagement with team members to resolve technical issues.
• Team player with good organizational skills.
• Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with all levels of management.
• Experience building effective teams committed to program and organizational goals.

• Microsoft Office Suite Proficient.
• Experience with diagnostic modeling in any of the following tool sets; DSI eXpress, Siemens Xcelerator/MADe, Dassault System 3DX.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering languages (including SysML).
• Experience developing failure mode effects analysis and built-in-test (BIT) design.
• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, or Prognostics & Health Management capability development in commercial or military aviation.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
