This position is being posted as both a Road Maintenance Technician I and II.
Candidates will be considered for the highest level for which they qualify.
The salary range for a Road Maintenance Technician I is $16.91- $25.35
however, starting minimum payrate is $21.13 per hour.
The salary range for a Road Maintenance Technician II is $20.47 - $30.68
however, starting minimum payrate is $22.96 up to $25.57 per hour
depending upon experience and qualifications.*** $2,500 signing incentive
for new employees hired into this position!*** The signing incentive will be
paid in three installments during the first year of employment. This
incentive is for new County employees hired into this position; current
Arapahoe County employees are not eligible.
These positions will be filled at either the Road Maintenance Technician I or
II level but will be eligible for future potential career progression to the
Road Maintenance Technician III level, with the hourly pay range for a Road
Maintenance Technician III being $25.20 to $37.81. Career progression
eligibility is dependent upon the qualifications of the individual, level of
work being performed, and operational needs of the organization.
