Required Skills:

Preferred Skills:

Job Description:
This entry-level position provides an excellent learning opportunity for individuals looking to explore a career in community development or affordable housing.
CD Techs support a variety of programs and projects within the Community Development department. CD Techs work closely alongside others to contribute to strategic initiatives that create and preserve affordable housing in Washington County. CD Techs also play an important role with department administration, including record management, research and analysis, and a variety of special projects related to diverse topics within the sphere of community development.
CD techs are responsible for a range of tasks including procuring small contracts for construction and professional services; reviewing contractor submittals and closeout documents; processing invoices; updating capital asset inventories; managing departmental records; monitoring County development activity; researching policy issues; conducting surveys; reviewing documents; coordinating meetings; compiling data; producing various informational materials. The hiring range for this position is $23.37 – 28.43/hr. based on experience.
