IRIS Consulting Corporation Data Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Responsibilities:

• Create accountability tools such as scorecards and performance reviews that focus on KPIs that monitor and drive delivery

• Create insightful executive-level and frontline dashboards using data visualization tools

• Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project development

• Develop and improve automated reports and analyses to support senior divisional leaders and business units

• Understand drivers of the KPIs through various analyses and work closely with the business team to create solutions

• Present findings to business leadership

• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• 3+ years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field preferred

• Track record of previous experience with creating and developing BI dashboards, excel reports, working with and developing data models

• Power BI and SQL, Microsoft Excel experience are a prerequisite

• Direct experience communicating with stakeholders, delivering projects end-to-end, and working collaboratively to drive improvement in the overall analytical support of Delta operations worldwide

• Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings.

• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Successful candidates will also have familiarity and/or experience with some or all of the following: SAS, R, Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire or other database interface tools and languages

• Experience working with REST APIs, Postman will be beneficial

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or other relevant quantitative field

• Previous experience in reporting and analytics roles

• Previous experience in a Program Management or Program Delivery Organization

• Previous experience and understanding of Agile Delivery Frameworks
