JOB BRIEF

Lead the oversight and management of Regulatory Exam activities for the Regulatory Relations Team within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Work under the leadership of the Regulatory Liaison to ensure elements of the Regulatory Exam Management Program are implemented and executed across the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Actively oversees and executes all aspects of regulatory exams for Key including: providing consultation and guidance to leadership and LOBs in preparation for regulatory exams; interfacing with external regulatory examiners; educating LOB personnel on established protocols for exam processes and ensuring those protocols and processes are followed.
Interacts with regulatory examiners from various governmental agencies with some level of influence.
Manages physical and information security aspects for regulators.
Manages information requests from various governmental agencies including: determining strategy for response, compiling and challenging content, determining format, and ensuring timely delivery following established protocols.
Performs a variety of quality assurance functions over processes and documentation related to regulatory meeting set up and materials, regulatory report distribution and regulatory exams.
Manages regulatory distribution of information, including risk governance materials. Provides direction to committee chairs, secretaries and report owners on content, format and protocols for distribution.
Identifies process improvement opportunities.
Maintains strict deadlines and ensures compliance with these deadlines within the department and across Key.

MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS

Participates in additional projects and ad hoc reporting as requested.
Contributes to Risk Management projects and initiatives.
Participates and/or manages continuous improvement projects.
Provides back-up to other associates as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

College degree or equivalent work experience
Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook
8-10 years of financial services experience

Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver reporting and presentations for senior management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA
Risk Management, audit or regulatory experience

Proven project management skills
Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple, often competing priorities
Executive presence and presentation
Analytical thinker with the ability to translate complex concepts into concise, understandable observations
Demonstrated ability to broker/create solutions through collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requires minimal supervision with an ownership mindset
Attention to detail
GRC experience a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
