job In this role, you will support sales growth of Alfa Laval\'s
complete range of products into the dairy, food and beverage markets
through providing high level technical product support direct to end
users, channels, and the applications teams. Products include pumps,
valves, tank agitation and mixing, automation, membranes, and load. You
will be responsible for providing direct technical support to customers
and sales and service team on specific Alfa Laval product/s or
applications. Currently, this is opportunity is located in Kenosha, WI.
As a part of the team, you will: Work with existing relations or in
projects and in what is generated via field sales. Be part of a customer
project making visits, meetings, and interactions to customers, focusing
on product presentations to offer a customized value proposition to the
customer. Support in the complex quotation process in a customer
project. Be product champion in a product launch campaign or in product
campaigns and drive. Serve as resident technical expert in any one of
several disciplines including: Rheology (including testing), Metallurgy,
Elastomers/Polymers. Provide technical assistance across internal teams
including communications, product development, and operations. Travel up
to 30% to assist in sales support, field service, training, tradeshows,
seminars and/or company meetings. What you know : You have an Associate
Degree or BS in Engineering, with relevant experience and: Ability to
prioritize and manage multiple short-term tasks. Ability to work
independently. Ability to synthesize technical information from multiple
sources. Must be good at technical problem solving. Must have a positive
customer-focused attitude. Strong PC skills including presentations,
Excel, and CRM software. CAD knowledge or experience. Knowledge or
experience with Rheology, Metallurgy, Elastomers/Polymers, a plus
Experience with the practical application of fluid handling equipment
such as pumps, valves, fittings, heat exchangers or related products
