Description
Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. Working from our Eagan, MN office, we are currently in search of a seasoned Billing Specialist. This position is responsible for preparing complete and accurate billing to Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance carriers and to resolve open balances in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review and process daily Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance claims for electronic submission.
Review denials, correct claims and resubmit.
Work with Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance carriers to resolve billing issues.
Process insurance changes and updates.
Address and resolve EMC edits for accurate billing.
Maintain compliance with PAP, 5-Year RUL, and Monthly Oxygen Fills reports.
Qualifications
Our top candidates must have:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance billing. Experience with DME is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent follow up skills.
Ability to work individually and as a team to meet individual and departmental goals.
Participate in individual feedback sessions, staff meetings and annual training and/or competency tests.
