JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview You could be eligible for up to a \$15,000
Sign on Bonus as a new grad RN! As a Registered Nurse, you will provide
compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to patients
in a clinical setting, supporting the Mercyhealth nursing mission,
practice values and strategic plan. The RN Residency program at
Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center is built for flexibility and

Responsibilities Under direction of unit educator and RN preceptor: \*
Utilizes the nursing process and collaboration with interdisciplinary
team members in caring for patients. \* Administers prescribed
medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing
techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State
laws/practice act. \* Documents according to standards of care and
guidelines. \* Initiates a patient plan of care according to the
individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or
hospital policy including patient and family education. \* Participates
in department or unit performance improvement activities. \* Complete
classroom and training as required by RN residency program. Education
and Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or upon
hire BSN completion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN
Completion Program RN must have 6 or less months of RN experience.
Certification/Licensure Licensed as an RN in state of practice. Approved
CPR Certification within 90 days (Other certifications per unit
requirements: ACLS, PALS, NALS) Special Physical Demands The Special
