| Job Description: |
Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with customers, business analysts, technology, and project teams to understand business requirements, drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and technology strategies, and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Provide technical guidance to the development team through the full software life cycle. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience coding and/or designing in multiple environments, including Mainframe (COBOL/JCL/DB2/VSAM), ETL Informatica (Mapping Designer, PowerExchange & PowerCenter), and Unix Shell Scripting. 5 years of experience designing and building complex software applications, including integration with multiple consumer applications.
