MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- PharmD or PhD with pharmacometric experience.
- Doctoral degree in pharmaceutical sciences, statistics, medical or related field preferred. Good experience with PKPD modeling and simulation.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of clinical science and therapeutics.
- Knowledge of drug development.
- Ability to design research studies data, collection procedures and warehousing.
- Ability to understand and utilize scientific/medical terminology and research theory in both oral and written communications.
- Knowledge of theoretical, conceptual, and writing, support research analysis and findings. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of subjects and information obtained.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently perform or lead research activities.
- Ability to use a consultative approach to resolve issues in area of responsibility.
- Education - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum design principles, evidence-based teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and knowledge of measurement and assessment.
SCHOLARSHIP
Engage in scholarly activity in areas of interest. Scholarly activity is defined broadly and includes, for example, disease modeling, development of innovative pharmacometric methods and trial designs.
Level of scholarly involvement will be commensurate with an academic appointment on the non-tenure track; consistent publication and presentation of work are expected.
Scholarly activity may be pursued either independently or in collaboration with others. Effort devoted to scholarship is expected to grow as the institute becomes established.
SERVICE TO THE UNIVERSITY, SCHOOL, AND PUBLIC
Participation in appropriate faculty activities (e.g., faculty assembly, department meetings, and faculty committees), professional organizations, and other endeavors is required.

SALARY RANGE
School Assistant Professor: $120,000 - $140,000
School Associate Professor: $ 140,000 - $190,000
School Professor: $190,000 - $230,000
The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
