Work Description:Preparation of preliminary pipeline routing, wall thickness, corrosion and stability calculationsOversee pipeline engineering design work performed by contractorsValidate pipeline engineering analyses and design calculations performed by contractorsProvide engineering support during construction and installation phaseAssist in technical evaluation of pipeline materials bids.Perform detailed pipeline design calculations for in-house pipeline design and review design contractor deliverables.Support project management teams with procurement of pipeline materialsSupport project management teams in contracting of pipeline engineering and construction servicesAssist in development and implementation of organization work processes and procedures

Position Requirements Position Requirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExcellent analytical and computing skillsExcellent communications skillsAble to effectively interface and integrate with other Company departmentsAccountable for completing tasks on schedule with quality and compliance with applicable codes and standardsExperienceMinimum 5-7 years of experience in Oil and Gas IndustryWorking knowledge of pipeline design standards and design softwareWorking knowledge of pipeline corrosion control and materials selectionWorking experience with pipe-coating, pipeline route survey, pipe-lay, and pipeline testing/commissioning operations preferredFamiliarity with hot-taps, mechanical connectors and clad/lined pipelines preferred**Position may be filled at various levels depending on experience and job skills of successful candidate.Hybrid work schedule (Monday – Wednesday: office, Thursday – Friday: remote); additional work schedule options available (9/80 and half day Fridays)
