Job Description

 
3 fulltime seasonal H-2A jobs available 05/01/2024- 11/10/2024. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Summer pruning trees, planting trees, orchard maintenance, climb ladders, pick apples from trees, move from site to site, bin repair, hand thinning, driving, mowing, spraying. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license, no one will be rejected for this position that does not possess a drivers license. Summer prune trees, bin repair, tree nursery work, planting trees, hand thinning, orchard maintenance, climb ladders, pick apples from trees, move from site to site, driving, mowing , spraying. Requirements: * 3 months verifiable experience required in the tasks described. * Exposure to extreme temperatures. * Extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping and repetitive movements. * Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
