Summary of Duties:
The Office of the Vice Chancellor Office Assistant position provides personnel, and office support for Student Affairs. This position works with the Personnel Coordinator and Student Affairs Leadership to assist staff and departments across the area. This position is responsible for personnel processing and position monitoring along with routine clerical duties.
Required Qualifications:
• High School graduation or equivalent and two years of clerical experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency with WSU systems such as Workday and associated processes/actions.
• Experience extracting data and providing analysis using tools such as Workday, Excel and other WSU systems.
• Experience with personnel and payroll functions.
• Experience in a higher education environment.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and experience in effectively working with diverse or multicultural populations.

Monthly Salary:
$2,940 to $3,883 | Range 34 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://https:/app.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=357-28 .
