POSITION SUMMARY:

Charged with delivering legal solutions to all departments and entities within this global company, the AtriCure legal group is busy and dynamic, handling myriad tasks including but not limited to transactional work, litigation and strategic development. The Legal Operations Analyst will help facilitate business process improvement, analysis, review, and documentation of functional business specifications. This position manages communications of requirement development and processes. It also provides the end-user support, analysis, specification, and verification of multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective and supports the ongoing management of the requirements. The Analyst will also coordinate and manage the implementation and/or support integration of products or new features for users including end-user training. This position will provide support for all things legal operations related.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:


Take charge of reporting and data management for the Legal team
Analyze existing departmental processes and work closely with Legal team members to identify opportunities for improvement and help implement those changes
Develop processes, generate reports, and implement data-driven strategies to control costs, forecast resources and budget needs, and monitor internal and external resource performance
Project manage the selection and implementation of legal technology products. This involves gathering requirements, setting the scope, running the RFI process, vendor selection, implementation, and change management
Develop Legal team operations playbooks and document automation tools
Work with data analytics to help the Legal team report on activity and impact
Carry out various legal operations tasks, including document processing, legal billing, metrics development, and others as needed
Provide technical and training support for the current Legal team members as well as new Legal department hires

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree in an analytical or business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and two to four years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Legal Operations or IT experience. This would include system support or administration of Legal Systems such as Ebilling, matter management, project management, and contract lifecycle management
Must possess experience with data analysis, including identifying patterns, trends, and insights in various types of data.
Excellent skills in the following areas: follow-up, organization, analytical and critical thinking, flexibility, and internal processes
Must possess the ability to navigate within a corporate environment and build successful business relationships in a team environment
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management
Must be confident, goal-oriented, self-motivated and a team player with a service-focused mindset
Computer proficient with experience with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Independent worker with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Previous experience with Power BI a plus.
Advanced data analysis experience, including providing actionable recommendations based upon analysis of various types of data.
System implementation experience is preferred as the subject matter expert, project manager, or IT.

Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
