Job Description

The Applied Learning team manages associate and customer training inside industrial, mobile, and automation markets. We serve Applied with leadership, sales, product, safety, and system training.

The Learning & Development Coordinator is integral to our team, responsible for planning and managing instructor-led classes, serving as the primary contact for our Learning Management System (LMS), and ensuring smooth operation and support for LMS programs and MS Teams content. This role requires a proactive approach to learning new systems, creating valuable learning assets, and employing project management skills to develop content that aligns with our Organizational Learning objectives.

The ideal candidate would be extremely organized, have strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and familiarity with various technologies.

Scope of Responsibility:

Plan, organize and manage instructor-led classes
Key liaison for Learning Management System (LMS) for department and field
Launch, assign, and support LMS programs and MS Teams content (internal/external)
Engage in setup, learning and functionality of the LMS system
Creation of learning assets (screen recordings, job aids, etc.)

Utilize project management skills and develop content to support Organizational Learning goals
Manage fluid power online training (Lunchbox licensing and logins)

Job Duties:

Planning and logistics support for facilitated courses
LMS assistance for field associates
Responsible for LMS reports
Work with the learning team and field leaders to measure learning effectiveness
Manage testing and uploading process on the LMS
Produce and edit job aids, podcasts, and screen recordings
Provide quotations and setups for MaintenancePRO learning (customer training)
Close out the MPRO billing process with vendors and Service Centers in SAP

Experience and Qualifications:

Required:

Must have HS Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor of Science or Arts degree preferred
Project management and organization skills
Ability to handle/prioritize multiple projects and requests
Proficient in effective troubleshooting techniques
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel

Preferred:

Learning and Talent Development experience
Learning Management System administrative experience
Video, audio and/or creative content development experience
Instructional design experience
