Weld Operations to join our Grafton, WI facility. Primary
Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all welding, and ancillary
operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry
standards, while also spearheading the adoption of advanced weld
technologies to drive operational excellence and innovation. Collaborate
with the VP of Operations to evaluate, adopt, and integrate advanced
weld technologies, leveraging innovation to enhance efficiency,
precision, and quality in welding operations. Develop and execute
strategic plans for welding operations, leveraging financial acumen to
optimize resource allocation, control costs, and drive tangible ROI
through process improvements, technology investments, and operational
efficiencies. Review work orders and allocate resources effectively to
ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products, while also identifying
opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost
savings through the adoption of advanced weld technologies. Engage with
customers to understand their evolving needs and expectations,
leveraging advanced weld technologies and process innovations to deliver
customized solutions that drive customer satisfaction and foster
long-term partnerships. Collaborate with the purchasing department to
optimize the procurement of welding supplies and equipment, negotiating
favorable contracts and leveraging bulk purchasing opportunities to
reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Lead continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in
welding operations, leveraging data-driven insights, performance
metrics, and advanced analytics to identify areas for optimization and
