    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Hand Therapist will provide services to patients using specialized skills, including assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe hand therapy. 
  • This will include progression of treatment goals and patient and family education. 
  • Assess and treat a patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems and situations. 
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge. 
  • Implement treatment programs, which include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, fabrication of orthoses, and evidence-based utilization of physical agents.
  • Instruct, assign work and evaluate students as assigned by supervisor. 
  • The Therapist acts as a resource within the Exercise Training Center.

  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    - Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and successful completion of American Occupational Therapy certification examination.
    OR
    - Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification or registration.
    - Licensed by the state of Washington as an Occupational Therapist

    DESIRED
    Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) highly preferred
