*Senior Program Manager - Health Equity & Medicaid - \Remote

The Senior Program Manager - Health Equity & Medicaid functions as a resource for supporting Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives in Providence's Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing inequities among our patients and communities. The position will lead and facilitate multi-disciplinary, cross-functional, and cross-divisional teams, initiatives and projects of varying size and complexity and is viewed as a partner to divisions and lines of business in implementation, optimization, and standardization of data, evidence, and operations informed practices. The position will provide program management support for initiatives focused on advancing health equity and/or caring well for populations with Medicaid across the enterprise. This position will need to flexibly respond to organizational needs and enhance the internal capability within the organization to develop and drive change and facilitate alignment to drive measurable impact.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work or related discipline or equivalent experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years Project management, consulting, health planning, and/or business analysis experience. Experience in managing virtual teams
3 years experience in healthcare operations for an understanding of the nature of the work performed
Strong project management experience, including development of work plans, metrics, and monitoring processes
Demonstrated experience and success in leading cross-functional and virtual teams for strategically-essential system initiatives with varying complexity
Some experience that demonstrates effectiveness in accomplishing objectives in a complex organization
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, or related discipline or equivalent experience Or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: Project Management Professional (PMP)
Performance improvement experience using a variety of performance improvement tools
