Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT, Alumni Association, to provide project and product management for a variety of online and database applications, including Hivebrite, Salesforce, alum.mit.edu, and giving.mit.edu.  Will develop specifications and project manage annual online programs and lead quality assurance processes for all web-based services team projects.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; three years’ relevant experience with enterprise systems and/or project management; experience developing documentation for online products and services and/or experience composing user guides and other written materials for software products; skill with QA testing, statistical analysis, and reporting on systems services and products; excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational, presentation, project management, analytical, and written and oral communication skills; attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and time sensitivity; tact and good judgment with confidential information; interest in delving into complex problems; comfort with a variety of web technologies and proficiency with standard applications (including Microsoft Office) and web presentation software such as Zoom; and familiarity with Hivebrite, Salesforce, Advance Web (by Ellucian), and CyberSource.  Seek a self- starter who demonstrates initiative and can independently organize, prioritize, and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment; determine goals and set priorities under tight deadlines; establish effective working relationships with colleagues, alumni and other constituents; work collaboratively as part of a team in a diverse service-oriented environment; anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change; adapt to a rapidly changing environment and proactively problem solve; and present complex data and systems in effective ways for learners of multiple types.  PREFERRED:  training experience; experience with JIRA/Confluence/Atlassian suite; PMP and experience working in volunteer management and higher education advancement.  Job #23705-8

This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-campus and remote work.

Must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
