Job Description | The School of Nursing at Old Dominion University invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time, 12-month, tenure track nursing faculty position as the Program Director for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) program and Assistant Professor in the graduate nursing program. We are committed to building a diverse faculty, dedicated to student success, and we embrace faculty satisfaction and professional growth as our top priorities. Our School is searching for a faculty member who will share and contribute to our mission to transform healthcare by preparing exceptional nurses, extending nursing science and partnering with our global community. The start date for the position will be June 10, 2024. Faculty responsibilities will include didactic and clinical instruction in the graduate nursing program, preferably the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. Classroom and clinical courses are offered year-round. Additional teaching responsibility for lab and clinical courses and administration of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program will round out the faculty member’s workload. |

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities | Recent clinical practice experience as a nurse practitioner. |
