What Kind of Skills/Experience Do I Need?

We hire caregivers with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. While we hire health care-related, trained professionals like: RNs, LPNs, CMTs, Level One Med Aides, CNAs, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists - you do NOT need to be licensed or certified to join our Caregiving Family. We look for individuals that have caregiving experience with their loved ones including elder care, child care, day care, infant care, education, social work, etc. The most important things we look for is a caring heart and a passion to serve.

What Kind of Orientation/Training Can You Offer Me?

Martha's Hands conducts an Initial Orientation/Training Session upon hire. During this Orientation, we will emphasize some of the core Caregiving Skills that relate to Home Care. When you go to a client for the first time, our Martha's Hands Nursing Team will introduce you to the client and orientate you to their specific care needs, including any special equipment and care techniques. Martha's Hands offers on-going training opportunities in partnership with other local and national healthcare training organizations.

How Do You Place Me With A Client?

All Caregivers complete a Skills/Assignment Match Checklist. Based on the Skills and Care Settings you check off on your list, our Staffing Team will carefully select client assignments that match your requests - utilizing our computerized care matching system. They will present client assignment opportunities to you for your consideration. The final decision to accept any assignment is always your choice. We want you to be successful and happy with your client assignments.

How Does Your Applicant Process Work?

Once you complete your on-line application, our Recruitment Team will conduct an Initial Review. For qualified candidates, we will request additional information to compete your review along with an opportunity for an In-Person Evaluation. If we receive all your information in a timely manner, we can On-Board candidates within two weeks.
