Ohio Means Jobs is helping find Fence Installers for a local construction company:
Work with your hands in the great outdoors, while enjoying new scenery every day. Installing fences is easy to learn and we will train you.
Duties:
- Install various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, and chain-link
- Measure and mark fence lines to ensure accurate installation
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground
- Attach fence panels or pickets to posts using appropriate hardware
- Cut and shape materials as needed to fit specific dimensions
- Repair or replace damaged sections of existing fences
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles during installation process
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members
Note: Prior experience as a fence installer is not required. Training will be provided for candidates with relevant skills and a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
