Minimum Qualifications

- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum Experience: None required.
- Certification/Licensure: Documentation of previous Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from an accredited nursing program with a B average or better or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician, or documentation of a current State issued Emergency Medical Tech License or documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similar military issued document needed to validate training or documentation of having successfully compete a Patient Care Tech Program and hold a current Patient Care Technician National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
For new hires, Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required within 90 days of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
