Job Qualifications
-Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or clinical counseling.
-Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) license preferred, but Master's Level Practitioners working towards licensure are encouraged to apply.
-A strong understanding of child development and trauma treatment is most useful. An understanding of the importance of family work is imperative.
-A passion for serving individuals and families in our community, and in providing trauma informed, culturally responsive mental health treatment.

Join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health & Wellness team at Wilder in providing clinical service delivery that supports our community's mental wellness, critical to Wilder's mission of improving lives today and for generations to come! We have an opening for a fulltime individual/family therapist position with Wilder's School Based Mental Health team. A unique feature that sets the Wilder school based program apart is the cultural specific programing and rites of passage (ROP) events for BIPOC students and their families. ROP cultural events are hosted by school based therapist’s and co-facilitated with community partners including elders, artists, musicians, poets and other community leaders. Participants engage in experiences that grow confidence, community, and cultural pride.

Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care, we collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated, integrated care for clients and their families. While we are set up to serve the entire community, we are known nationally for our culturally-specific mental health services. Join a team who brings their diverse identities, cultures, lived experiences and skills to provide mental health and wellness services that are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and impactful for the whole family.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide individual and family mental health treatment in school, home, community, and virtual settings
-Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and complete progress notes
-Partner with the school mental health team to support the student in the school setting
-Attend consultation group and participate in staff meetings
-Participate in professional organizations or associations related to the job when opportunity arises
-Maintain license and appropriate mental health standards
-Make presentations to Foundation and community groups as requested
-Serve on Foundation committees or task forces as requested
-Occasional transport of clients (if eligible)
-Other duties as assigned.
