The Opportunity:
As the Manager of Constituent Networking you will be a dynamic and collaborative professional leading our efforts in creating engaging opportunities and tailored resources for alumni and friends, supporting diverse career and personal development pursuits. As a key player, you will provide strategic leadership in coordinating and managing professional development programs, mentoring initiatives, job search opportunities, campus-wide events, and networking programs. This role involves developing and executing multi-year strategies for alumni engagement and career development, tracking career outcomes, and ensuring seamless integration of existing offerings with innovative initiatives. Additionally, responsibilities include planning and implementing career development and job search programs, managing event logistics, fostering relationships with faculty and administration, and maintaining comprehensive databases and resource libraries. Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Six (6) months of full-time experience in higher education, event coordination, project management, alumni/donor relations, or work with evidence of ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing, and organize and execute assignments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications and social media applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create personal relationships on all levels.
• Experience in secondary education, higher education, or not-for-profit environments.
• Strong organizational skills with “hands-on” attitude, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple events, projects, and activities at the same time
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, public relations, organizational leadership, or a closely related field.
• Experience working in team-oriented, fast paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience with highly visible events, large scale events, and/or multi-day events.
• Experience with contract negotiations and conflict resolutions.
• Experience with risk management.
• Experience which demonstrates strong project management and time management skills.
• Supervisory experience.

Monthly Salary: $4,942.10 - $7,569.55 | In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
