Parish Administrator of All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore
(19 Hours) $16 - $20/hr., commensurate with experience
DESCRIPTION:
All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, Danvers, seeks a focused, detail-oriented, personable, reliable, and organized individual to join our staff in the role of Parish Administrator. We are looking for someone who thrives on multi-tasking in a vibrant church, busy with
year-round needs responding to clerical, bookkeeping and reception needs and deadlines. Position reports to the Priest in Charge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
~ Experience as administrative assistant
~ High school diploma mandatory, college degree a plus
~ Strong interpersonal skills
~ Ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain positive and constructive working
relationships with staff and parishioners.
~ Proficient typing and computer skills are imperative (MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Gmail, marketing program [Mailchimp]; knowledge of On Realm (donor and membership management software) and QuickBooks Online a plus
~ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with strong editing ability
~ Knowledge of computer relative to accessing , inputting, organizing, filing and retrieving information
~ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through
~ Ability to maintain confidentiality
~ Familiarity with the Episcopal Church is a plus
JOB DETAILS
Location: All Saints Episcopal Church, 46 Cherry St., Danvers Hours: Tuesday- Thursday 9am-2pm. Friday 9am-1pm. July and August hours are flexible after first year of employment. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
