JOB REQUIREMENTS: SHINE Technologies is seeking an Entry-Level Chemist
who will prepare samples and solutions according to instructions and
general chemical principles. The Entry-Level Chemist will contribute to
the Chemistry team by working on targeted R&D projects in the field of
radiochemical separations and learning how to operate a variety of
analytical instrumentation, such as ICP-MS, LSC, and HPLC, in order to
analyze samples generated across SHINE divisions. Performs emerging
experiments discussed within the team as needed. Duties and
Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities of the
Entry-Level Chemist include, but are not limited to: Perform
experimental and prototyping work related to chemical and radiochemical
handling, sampling, and analysis. Contribute to the development of
standard operating procedures for the use of laboratory equipment and
test plans for targeted R&D experiments. Perform chemical procedures for
the aqueous separation of metal ions. Perform other duties as requested
or assigned. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. in
Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline. Experience with
spectroscopic or chromatographic techniques. Willingness to handle
radioactive materials and learn proper use of radioanalytical
instruments. Willingness to be \"hands on\" and understand new
technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. \*\*\*\*\*
