4 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 06/15/2024 - 11/02/2024. Any combination of jobs involved in farm operations including but not limited to, the cultivation, harvesting packing of fruit and vegetables. Harvesting fruits and vegetables must be done according to instructions that will be given daily according to market conditions. Some harvesting may be for direct sales and the strictest quality standards must be adhered to. Workers may be required to pack and sort fruit and vegetables according to strict quality and sanitary standards and may set up, operate farm machinery and vehicles, repair fences and farm buildings, also may participate in irrigation activities. Workers may be required to prune plants and trees and perform certain horticultural practices on strawberry plantings, workers may use tools such as hoes, rakes, shovels, pruning saws, loppers, hand shears picking buckets and ladders up to 16 ft. tall. This job is physically demanding requiring workers to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and is often performed outdoors sometimes under extremely hot or cold conditions. One months experience is required for jobs listed.
