Order#: NY1496135 STRUCTURAL STEEL CNC MACHINE OPERATORS Responsibilities of these positions include: Operate FICEP structural steel Drill and Saw automated line. Follow all quality procedures, material tracking and part inspection Follow policies, practices, procedures and tracking for production operations Look out for manufacturing issues and escalate design, manufacturing and build issues to supervisors when appropriate Interpret drawings Operate Overhead Bridge Cranes Basic Rigging Skills Maintain equipment per manufactures recommendations for preventive maintenance Utilize understanding of component assembly processes to prevent detailing errors reaching the cutting, drilling operation center. Understanding of flanges and hole locations of cuts Other work, which may be assigned as needed to support the team Must be willing to work overtime, when available. Must have basic computer knowledge Must be familiar with email Qualified applicants should have 2+ years of CNC machine operating. Experienced in a parts manufacturing environment, or similar industry a plus. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong understanding of structural assembly and fabrication equipment including, saws, drill presses, plasma cutting, iron workers. Specific knowledge of structural steel CNC equipment.
