Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. As a Software Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by identifying defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and validate user experience across different platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements are understood and translated into effective test strategies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide input on testing efforts and status updates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in software testing and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
